DIVING BELLE Mooring Contractor on the Rivers Lynher and Tamar |
WHAT WE DO AND THE QUALIFICATIONS WE HOLD
We work with small craft moorings on the Rivers Tamar and Lynher which are on the border between Devon and Cornwall. On the Tamar we work on the Cornish side of the river at Cove Head and on the Saltash moorings south of the Tamar Bridge. On the Lynher we work on the north bank between its junction with the Tamar at Saltash and Jupiter Point.
We lay new moorings.
We maintain moorings. This consists of an annual survey and servicing.
We advise local boat owners on how to get a mooring position.
We offer free advice via this site on how to construct your own mooring. We give specifications. We list our minimum standards acceptable at the annual survey.
We are happy to advise insurance companies and yacht clubs on mooring configurations and the mathematics required and to act as an intermediary between parties.
If you are a customer of Diving Belle we can offer a Total Maintenance Contract (known as Option D) which is a method of paying for mooring maintenance by an ongoing monthly standing order payment.
We survey mooring areas and produce high quality accurate charts for use by mooring contractors or clubs and have measuring equipment capable of producing accurate positions down to one metre.
Diving Belle started trading in 1985.
